CAB Abstracts + Archive


Description

CABI’s database CAB Abstracts gives access to over 6 million records from 1973 onwards, with over 300,000 new records added each year. Its coverage is fully international and includes the fields of agriculture, environment, veterinary sciences, applied economics, food science and nutrition. In addition the CAB Abstracts Archive provides 1.8 million records dating back to 1910. Both databases are available on the Web and on CD-ROM.

How the pathway is enabled: 

The CAB Abstracts Archive is a database of 1.8 million records dating back to 1910. It was produced by a digitization project which took old content previously existing only in print, and created a searchable database of valuable international information which was otherwise not accessible by users around the world.

How the pathway is enabled: 

The CAB Abstracts database is a searchable collection of over 6 million records which are structured and classified so as to make the user’s searches as efficient and productive as possible. It also includes full text records. The database’s coverage is global.
