GFRAS has joined the CIARD movement

GFRASThe Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS) has joined the CIARD movement. GFRAS provides advocacy and leadership on pluralistic, demand-driven rural advisory services within the global development agenda for the sustainable reduction of hunger and poverty worldwide. It also supports the development and synthesis of evidence-based approaches and policies for improving the effectiveness of rural advisory services.  As such GFRAS has a major stake in facilitating knowledge flows between researchers and practitioners, and in making the outputs of agricultural research truly accessible to all.  Its global constituency can make a significant contribution to achievement of the CIARD vision through enhancing the main elements of the framework such as the Checklist  and Pathways, and in providing case study evidence of the benefits of access.
