The Advocacy Task Force members comprise representatives of key organizations participating in the Expert Consultation in October 2005, and others co-opted from major constituencies in the initiative that were not represented. The size of the Task Force was a compromise between the wish to ensure effective communication and participation, and the need to be representative, and the Task Force has 18 members in 2007 (Annex 1). Two virtual workspaces were established for discussions and sharing of documents, on the Dgroup platform, and latterly for collaborative development of documents, on pbwiki. The latter space was used as an archive of outputs of discussions and meetings.
