农业研究与发展信息共享体系（CIARD）的首要任务是向公众开放农业研究信息，让所有人都能获得信息。这就意味着要与那些拥有信息、创造新知识的组织合作，协助他们更有效地发布信息，使信息获取途径更加便捷(更多)。

想要加入CIARD的机构应当赞同CIARD宣言，按照CIARD任务列表评价信息管理行为，分享并应用更加便捷的信息获取方法，贡献案例研究信息，并在RING网站注册信息服务。
